Sharon Israel Moskovitz
Executive Director


Sharon Israel Moskovitz was born in Ramat Gan, Israel. Leaving Israel at a young age, her family moved around the world until finally settling down in Miami. Sharon was actively involved in her youth group and spent many summers in Israel. While studying at the University of Central Florida, Sharon was instrumental in developing active Hillel programs on campus.

In 2006 Sharon began working for Temple Judea in the Margaux Early Childhood Preschool. Sharon became the Youth Director in 2007 and in 2013 she added Temple Program Coordinator to her job. In 2015, she became the Director of Engagement and Outreach followed by her time as the Associate Executive Director in 2019. In 2020 Sharon excitedly stepped into the role as Executive Director, she looks forward to another 14 years!   Sharon brings her deep love for Israel and Judaism and hopes to provide a meaningful and fun environment for our families.

When Sharon isn't traveling or eating you can find her on her paddleboard or cheering for the Miami Heat. Sharon is also a self-proclaimed connoisseur in Israeli cuisine and is always ready for shawarma and hummus. She has win boys, Alex and Max born in 2013, who were later joined by their little sister Stella Jordan in 2017.

Danielle F. Spiegelman
Senior Director of Advancement


Danielle is a seasoned executive with twenty-seven years of experience in non-profit and for-profit organizational management and revenue generation. Prior to joining Judea in 2017, Danielle served as CEO / Executive Director for Cancer Support Community Greater Miami (CSCGM).

CSCGM highlights included: first Pediatric Oncology Program with Carnival Foundation; working with Sharp General Contractors, for first Haitian Cancer Support Group; cultivating and securing first hospital-based partnerships with Baptist Health South Florida / MCI and Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center; first multi-year Giving Society, Guardians of Hope; serving on first “Congressional Caucus on Cancer”; hosting Cancer Moonshot 20 / 20 Summit alongside, CSC HQ, Vice President Joseph Biden and The White House.

Prior to CSCGM, Danielle was Temple Beth Am Campus Development Director where she worked with leadership and managed all fundraising including the $24 million Home for Our Heritage Capital & Endowment Campaign.

From 1999 – 2007, she was Marketing Director for The Falls shopping center responsible for marketing, advertising, branding, public relations / crisis management, corporate and promotional partnerships and special events. Milestones included Top Marketing / Regional Business Partnership Performer: 2004 - 2006; and national recognition for securing $1.8 million in non-tenant revenue.

Danielle came to The Falls from University of Miami’s Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center where she served as Director of Special Events. Prior, Spiegelman was Regional Director, Advertising Sales & Marketing Manager for Florida and Caribbean for Conde Nast Publications and Pace Communications.

Personal charitable causes include Hadassah of Greater Miami (Chavarot Chapter) where Spiegelman received the Woman of Distinction Award and National Leadership Award during her decade-long service. A three-time Children’s Home Society Outstanding Volunteer Award recipient, she has served as a Board Member and/or Committee Chair for Greater Miami Jewish Federation Southwest Dade Women’s Division as well as an event chair for Temple Beth Am and Nicklaus Children’s Hospital.

Currently, the Spiegelmans raise funds and awareness for Blue Star Camps’ Scholarship Program and advances in treating seizure disorders at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital’s Brain Institute.

Spiegelman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in advertising from University of Florida and lives in Palmetto Bay with her husband Marc and their children Logan, Austin and Ethan.

Seth Lewis Levin
Director of Education, Kalish Education Chair


Seth Lewis Levin is the Director of Education at Temple Judea in Coral Gables, FL. He supports his staff in fostering curiosity and engagement among Jewish learners of all ages. Seth brings a wealth of experience in teaching and educational leadership from various institutions across the country, including congregations, camps, public and charter schools. Previously, he served as the Director of School Leadership at Bezos Academy, a network of tuition-free preschools in underserved communities. Seth began his career as a community organizer before becoming a social studies teacher in New York City's Department of Education.

Seth holds multiple degrees, including a Masters in Teaching Social Studies from New York University, a Masters in Public Administration in School Leadership from Baruch College, a Masters in Library and Information Science from Long Island University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in European History and French Studies from Wesleyan University. He is a certified educator in several states and has taught and led educators at various levels.

Outside of his professional life, Seth has served on the boards of Congregational and Community organizations, Parent Teacher Association Executive Committees and coached his children’s baseball and soccer teams. He is an unapologetic “book worm,” collector of Jewish texts, photographs and recipes and has also recently become a committed student of Mussar. He lives with his wife Kami, their children Sydney, Elijah and Ava, their dog Abigail Adams and cat Fifi on Key Biscayne.

Gaby Enser Tangir
B'nai Mitzvah Director


Gaby is the B’nai Mitzvah Director, where she oversees the Temple Judea B’nai Mitzvah program. This includes B’nai Mitzvah Club, one-on-one tutoring, and supporting the child and family as they prepare for this special occasion. Gaby prepares adult congregants to read Torah and leads High Holy Days family services. One of Gaby’s passions is leading Shabbat En Español Services.

Gaby was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. There Gaby studied Hazanut (Cantorial music) and social communication, oriented in publicity and education. Gaby was the High Holidays Cantor at Temple Bet-Hilel (2000/5761) and Temple Shalom in Sao Pablo, Brazil (2001/5762). 

In 2002 Gaby and her husband Ariel immigrated to Miami. She began working at Temple Judea as a Cantorial Associate. In 2004, Gaby’s responsibilities shifted to the b’nai mitzvah preparation process and since then she has mentored every Bar/Bat mitzvah student.  

Gaby, Ariel, and their two sons Eitan and Matias, consider Temple Judea their second home!

Jenny Snyder
Pianist


Jenny Snyder has worked extensively throughout the Americas as a pianist, music director, and composer in classical and musical theatre settings. Born on the island of Guam, she began studying piano at the age of five and made her concerto debut at age 11. At 12 she made her solo recital debut and took the position as harpsichordist for the Black Hills Chamber Music Society. She received a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance (summa cum laude) from the Eastman School of Music under Ms. Nelita True, and pursued graduate studies there in accompanying and chamber music with Dr. Jean Barr. Ms. Snyder received Eastman's Excellence in Accompanying Award in both 2001 and 2002 for her performances with students and faculty members. She has since been an accompanist to a wide variety of musicians from professional whistler Jason Serinus (the voice of Woodstock in Peanuts movies) to renowned mezzo-soprano Frederica von Stade, with whom she has appeared in concert and on film.

Although trained as a classical pianist, Ms. Snyder has enjoyed a career in musical theatre venues as a coach and music director. She also takes a particular interest in new music has worked with many distinguished contemporary composers including John Zorn, John Adams, and Steve Reich, on whose premier recording of The Desert Music (2001 chamber version) she is featured playing synthesizer. Ms. Snyder has lived in Miami since 2005 when she joined the staff of Florida International University’s School of Music as a vocal accompanist and coach. She is currently a collaborative pianist for myriad musicians, including those at the University of Miami's Frost School of Music. She is the pianist, High Holiday conductor, and early childhood music specialist at Temple Judea in Coral Gables, where her original compositions and arrangements are performed regularly.
